INFORMATION: The “Beasties” in Scotland remind me a bit of the mosquitos back in California, although I now tend to think the Scottish Midge & Clegg are far worse, more insidious.

For those unaware, the microscopic Midge comes in masses of millions waiting to descend and bite, and the Clegg comes few but far between, but with razor like attachments on their faces, which are then used to get to your blood. It is just awful, and usually causes extreme swelling and the need for antibiotics. Not a day in the park if you ask me.

After trying many popular but smelly, breakourt causing repellants on the market, I opted to create my own Beastie Balm and it’s sister product Beastie Mist.

INSTRUCTIONS: Use liberally, as needed. Use from head to toe. Do a patch test before applying to face.
